Developing my Character

To help me think of my wig designs for the three different shoots in weeks 8, 9 and 10, I have started to develop a character to base them on.

Based on my research into the Maasai tribe, I have decided that I want my character to be a girl in her late teens/early twenties who is living in London but originally came from the Maasai tribe in Kenya.  I have chosen this idea for my character because I feel that it will allow me to incorporate a wider variety of ideas, whilst keeping some elements of the Maasai tribe.

My character for the three shoots:

Extreme - For this shoot, the style of my model and her hair will be as if she has been or is going to a British festival.
Moderate - My model will be styled for her everyday life in London, how I imagine that she would style herself for college or to go to the shops.
Simple - For this final shoot, I will style my model and the wig for how I imagine her to be when she goes back the Kenya to visit her parents and the rest of the tribe that she came from.
