When gathering ideas for my character for the three shoots towards the end of the project, I searched for inspiration in a range of areas. For example, from the Maasai tribe directly, African tribal inspired fashion photography, tribal influenced hairstyles and make-up designs.
Also to help me narrow my searches a bit more, I came up with some key words that I though would fit with my character's personality that I want to portray through the make-up and hair designs in the three photoshoots. Below is a moodboard based on my tribal character and the key words that I have chosen to describe her.
